Certain bacteria that reside in the body such as
Lactobacillus acidophilus are essential to healthy body
functions involving the processing of foods and nutrients.
Antibiotic use and poor dietary habits can deplete these
friendly bacteria. This probiotic supplement provides
living organisms to help replace depleted bacteria. NSP's
Bifidophilus Flora Force (a milk-free formula) contains a
higher amount (2.5 billion) of acidophilus than NSP's
Flora Force formula, plus it offers 1 billion
Bifidobacterium longum per capsule, for a total of 3.5
billion friendly microorganisms per capsule. To help the
bacteria get off to a good start, 100 mg of
fructooligosaccharide (dietary fiber), together with
carrot powder, is added to each capsule. Refrigerate or
freeze to maintain freshness. Promotes the growth of
friendly bacteria. Repopulates intestinal tract with live
organisms. Cultures are freeze-dried to preserve
viability. Contains no milk, wheat, corn, soy products or
preservatives. Best if used before expiration date.
